Elizabeth Ratzlaff Wenger, 93, loving wife to the late Paul Wenger who passed away in 2004, peacefully entered into her eternal rest Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017 at Moundridge Manor in Kansas. Funeral services in Kansas were held Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Moundridge Funeral Home. Funeral services in Georgia will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, at Pinecrest Mennonite Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Elizabeth was born to the late Lavina Becker Ratzlaff and the late Abe Ratzlaff in McPherson County where she married Paul in 1942. After moving to Louisville, they were members of Pinecrest Church of God in Christ Mennonite Church.
Elizabeth was also preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters. Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Ruth Koehn (Orie) of Clarksdale MS, Pauline Koehn (Linwood) of Murray KY, and Wanda Koehn (Gladwin) of Gentry AK; two sons, Harold Wenger (Phyllis) of Louisville, and Howard Wenger (Karla) of Macon MS; a brother, Noah Ratzlaff of Moundridge KS; two sisters, Dessie Wiebe of South Dakota and Gloriann Wedel of Galva; 20 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to be made to Moundridge Manor, 710 N. Christian Ave., Moundridge KS 67107.
The family will receive friends at Pinecrest Mennonite Church from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday evening, Feb. 10.
