Mr. Sidney Paul Lamb, Sr, 69, husband of Tammy Lamb, entered into rest Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016, at his residence. 
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 28, from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors, with Eric Harwell and Reverend Hal Hodgens officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.                            
Mr. Lamb, son of the late James “Buddy” and RoseMary Lamb, was born in Bartow, and was a loyal member of Insulators Local #92 and the Whispering Pines Hunting Club. He was also a member of Marks Baptist Church and the Christian Discovery Sunday School.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons, Sidney (Nancy) Lamb Jr,  Darrin  (Angie) Lamb  and Ricky (Paige) Solei, his daughter, Erica Parsons; his brother, Jimmy Lamb; his sisters, Deborah (Curtis) Lockamy, and Lisa (Chuck) Harwell; his grandchildren, Ashley (Josh) Scotia, Rachael Lamb, Lauren  (Tra) Faulkner, Michael Lamb, Kevin Solei, Sarah Solei, Luke Parsons, and Chloe Parsons; three great grandchildren; his aunt, Mary McZilkey, of Augusta; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
If so desired memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Ste 1509, New York, NY 10018; or to Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown , PA 18901.
Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors of Augusta were in charged of arrangements.
 
Mr. Leroy “Cutter” Usry, 86 of Quail Road, Gibson, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, in the Gibson Health and Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Anderson officiating.
Mr. Usry, a native of Gibson,  was a son of the late Darvin and Sally Newsome Usry. He retired from Aspin Tree Service as a lineman.
Mr. Usry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, JoAnne Quigley Usry; brothers, Lloyd Usry and Lewis Usry; sisters, Lois Frese, Mildred Thomas and Ruth Timmerman and is survived by sisters, Glenis Williford of Gibson and Bessie Thomas of South Carolina; brother, Kenneth Usry of Ocala, Fla; several nieces and nephews. 
Taylor Funeral Home, 57 College Place, Gibson, is in charge of arrangements.
