Ms. Fannie Bell Fields Carr

Mrs. Fannie Bell Fields Carr of 431 West Broad Street, Louisville, departed her life Feb. 12, 2018, at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta.
Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Jan.19, 2018 at Gordon Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Carr was born in Jefferson County, Feb. 12, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Albert Fields, Sr. and the late Fannie Fields. At a young age she became a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. When she was able, she attended Overcoming Ministry. She was a 1962 Graduate of Jefferson County High School. Occasionally she attended Jefferson County Leisure Center.
On Dec. 14, 1964, she was united into marriage to Mr. Ben Carr, Sr., they were blessed with seven beautiful children, one whom is predeceased, Michael Carr. 
Memories of her love will be cherished by husband, Ben Carr, Sr.; children, Barry Carr Fields, Ben Carr, Jr. Randy Carr, Rodney Carr (Tosha), Karen Carr Oliphant, (Anthony) and Kristy Carr Harrison (Ronald); siblings, Tom Fields, Sr. (Katherine), Larry Fields, Sr., Robert Fields, Sr. Lonnie Fields, Ronnie Fields and Harry Fields, Dorothy Fields Johnson and Jeannie Little (Rodney); sister-in-law, Mary Lee Washington (Bernard); god-daughter, Courtney Brown; aunt Annie Mae Roberts; twenty-three grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mrs. Carr was also predeceased by her siblings, Nellie Fields Atkins, Albert Fields, Jr., and Carolyn Fields Ingram and a grandson, Anthony Oliphant, Jr.
Garrer Funeral Home of 721 New Street, Louisville is in charge of the funeral arrangements of Mrs. Fannie Bell Fields Carr.
