Ms. Eloise A. Belcher, age 85, of Highway 319 Bartow, died Saturday evening, May 20, 2017 in the Vero Health & Rehibition of Wadley.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Baxter officiating.
Pallbearers were Clay Hodges, Chip Evans, Gary Belcher, Berry Belcher, L.C. Clark, Sr. and Chase Hodges. Burial will follow in the Bartow City Cemetery.
A native of Hart County, Mrs. Belcher was the daughter of the late Talmadge and Dorothy Peeples. She retired after more than 20 years of services from B.C. Moore’s department store in Louisville and attended St. Johns United Methodist Church.
Eloise was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Enon Alvin Belcher; sister, Betty Pardon and is survived by sons, Tony and Evey Belcher of Bartow, Don and Terri Belcher of Dallas, TX; brothers, Edward and Mary Peeples of Carnesville, Donald and Jewell Peeples of Macon; granddaughter, Toni Bell of Swainsboro; great granddaughters, Kyli Bell and Kati Kirkland; sisters in-law, Shirley Hodges and Vicki Belcher; several nieces, nephews and friends.

The Belcher family received friends Monday, May 22, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
