Mr. Dennis Wayne Roberts, age 80, of Bethel Acres Road Gibson, died Thursday evening, Feb. 9, 2017 at his residence.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Bethel Methodist Church, Gibson, with Rev. Tommy Anderson officiating.
A native of Crescent City, FL, Dennis is a son of the late Thomas Paul Roberts, Sr. and Bessie Beatrice Nasworthy Roberts. He was a merchandizer with Kraft General Foods for over 45 years and served in the U. S. Army.
Mr. Roberts is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Thomas Roberts, Kent Roberts, Roger Dale Roberts and Gary Glen Roberts and is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Jeanne Roberts; daughters, Kimberly Difonza of Windermere, FL, Denise Renee Bailey of Paisley, FL, Bethany Grace Arab of Gibson, and Laurie Allyson Shelton of Gibson; sisters, Barbara Godbolt of Hayesville, NC and Joy Lynn Howell of Hammond, LA; brothers, Bill Roberts of Orange Park, FL, Mike Roberts of Bridgeville, DE and Marlin Roberts of Fernandina Beach, FL, several nieces and nephews.
