Mr. Haywood Smith Jr., 76, of 3972 George St., Macon, departed this life Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018, at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 2 p.m. at James and Virginia Davis Memorial Chapel, Louisville. Burial will be held Spring Bethel Benevolent Society Cemetery.
Mr. Haywood was born to the parentage of the late Haywood Smith Sr. and the late Ida Bell Dixon Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Theresa Ann Smith, siblings; James Smith, Roosevelt Smith, Esikmo Smith, Gordon Smith, Charles Smith, Maggie Smith, Ruby L. Smith, Emma Lodge, and Ruby Nelson.
Survivors include his daughters, Mary (Robert) Ketchup, Gloria Ida (Timothy) Davidson, Macon; son, Haywood Smith III, Macon; sisters, Pauline Webbs, Wadley, Marion (K.C.) Lewis, Midville, Fannie Scruggs, Augusta, Kathrine Allen, Atlanta, Inez Smith, Gibson, Annie Lois Vaughner, Ollie Neal, Wrens; brothers, Bernard Williams, Augusta, Sammie William, Thomson; sister-in-law Mildred Smith; 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
