Mr. Rickey Tukes, 59, 1273 Rob Street, Stapleton, departed this life Saturday evening at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at 1 p.m. at James and Virginia Davis Memorial Chapel. Burial will be held in the Oak Gove Baptist Church cemetery.
Mr. Tukes was born in Washington County to the parentage of the late Robert Lee Tukes and Catherine Henderson Tukes.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Brown Tukes, Stapleton; one daughter, Tamara (Jeffery) Wright; a son that he loved as his very own, Adrian (Gwendolyn) Poole; one step daughter, Tamala (Chad) Koetter; one step son, Johnny Taylor; one brother, Ernest Tukes, Sandersville; sisters, Ollie (Amos) Williams, Betty (Tommie) Richardson, Katherleen (Sanford) Braddy, Brenda (Bennie) James, Susan (Casey) Rogers and Martha Tukes; mother-in-law, Lucillie Oatman, Warrenton; father-in-law, Tommy Lee Brown; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ruby Brown, Thomas Brown, Charlie Brown and Harvest Brown; grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
