Ms. Phyllis Reese, 47, of 1147 Foley Street, Louisville, departed this life, Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, at her residence.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. at the Gordon Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Walter Holmes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Ms. Reese was born in Jefferson County to the parentage of late John Willie Reese, Jr. and Geneva Morgan Reese. She was a member of the Gordon Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Vontravis Reese, Louisville; brother, Willie Reese, Louisville; sisters, Albertha Heggs, Hephzibah, Thelma Reese, Daisy Reese and Martha (W.J. Jr.) Warthen, Louisville; grandchildren, Vontrayvis Reese and Zyonna Robinson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
