Edward John Himes passed away of heart complications on Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Louisville. He was 52 years old.
Edward was born May 21, 1965 in Buffalo, NY to his mother, Gayle F. Himes. He then grew up in Springville, NY until moving to Georgia in 1996.
He is survived by his two daughters Tina Himes and Rachel Himes, his son Allen Himes, grandson Shane Maxwell, brothers Mark Himes and William Himes, mother of his children Paulette Weidmann, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
He served in the military for a brief time before being medically discharged.
A private memorial service will be held for family and friends to celebrate his life later this week in his hometown of Springville, NY.
Edward was loved and respected by many, and will truly be missed as he is laid to rest.
