William M. Sharpe, age 69 of Troy, OH, formerly of Bartow, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at his residence. He was born Aug. 28, 1947 in Daytona Beach, FL to the late William H. Sharpe and Mary N. Holcomb-Sharpe.
William was married to and survived by Diane E. (Camacho) Sharpe. Other survivors include son and daughter-in-law Robert M. and Paula A. Sharpe of Pleasant Hill, OH; granddaughter Kali Sharpe; grandson Jeffrey Carey and wife Sierra Carey; great-grandchildren Aidan Sharpe, Cameron Carey, and Luella Carey; brother and sister-in-law Roger and Beth Sharpe of Matthews, NC; nephew Bill Sharpe; and niece Jennifer Sharpe.
William was a Corporal in the US Marine Corps and a veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved fishing and deer hunting and was a volunteer firefighter in Bartow. He had previously worked in vehicle maintenance for the Town of Palm Beach, FL.
