Mrs. Janice Kay Brown, beloved wife of Robert “Bob” Brown, entered into rest on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, at Harlem Baptist Church with Rev. Carson Britt officiating.
A native of Statesboro, Mrs. Brown retired as a parapro from North Harlem Elementary School with 25 years of service. She was the former Harlem High School Cheer Coach and was a member of Harlem Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include one son, Chris Brown (Lauren); a daughter, Whitney Brown Smith (Rick); her mother, Eldora Deal Barnes; her mother in law, Mrs. Inez Zeigler Brown; two brothers, Ronnie Barnes (Terri) and Donnie Barnes; three sisters, Wanda George (Ed), Faye Webb (Stacey) and Pat Holland (Nelson); two grandchildren, Gage Brown and Carter Brown.

The family will receive dfriends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Feb. 28, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
